因为之前陪着Steve看过不少房子，知了对于租房价格大致有了一个了解。他在心里默默盘算着，这比很多房子都便宜呢，而且距离city这么近，必须拿下啊。

他看了一眼Steve，转头对着muna问道：“oK，what should I do if I want it？Shall we sign the contract？”Steve吃惊地看着知了，低声说：“这就定了？”

muna笑着说：“You can pay me 100 dollars as deposit，and when do you want to move in？”

知了回答道：“I can move in this weekend if possible。”

muna想了一下，说：“oK，just let me know by this Friday。I can prepare a contract now if it’s oK to you。”

知了点点头，说道：“thank you，so let’s do it。”

muna说了一句：“oK，just wait here for five minutes。”说完指了指屋里，比划了一个写东西的手势，转身进去了。

Steve拉着知了走到了外面，掏出卷好的烟，问道：“你就这么决定了？也不再看看别的房子？”

知了满足地吸了一口，说道：“我很满意啊，地段好，价格也合适，而且是我想找的洋人房东。”

Steve摇摇头：“伊朗人，口音也不纯正，能对英语学习有帮助吗？我总觉得你这个决定草率了点儿。”

知了听了这话，心里默默地问自己：“这个决定做的是有点儿快了，我草率了？”但他什么也没说，看着空地上玩耍的孩子们，各种肤色的，一边跑一边叽里呱啦地叫嚷着什么。他忽然发现有个问题刚才忘记问了，屋子里能抽烟吗？

muna再出来时，手里拿着一张A4纸，说道：“this is the rental contract，you can read it and let me know if have any question。”

知了这时问道：“Just one question，can I smoke in the room？”

muna笑着说：“well，my husband smokes too，but don’t do it in front of the kids。You have to open the windows if smoke in your room。”

知了心想：“这房子更完美了，我还有啥可犹豫的？”想罢，拿着合同看了起来，内容看起来很格式化，有些单词他还不认识。
