homestay已经达成了某种默契，知了只要回家吃饭，都会和Ava提前说一声，不发短信就意味着不回家吃饭了。

今天回到家已经挺晚了，但知了一走进厨房，就发现大家围坐在餐桌边，每人面前都放着一杯红酒。

Ava先看到了知了，她说道：“hi young man, you are home late, e hare and take a seat。”经过了两个月的homestay生活，知了已基本能听懂Ava的绝大部分言语了，只是表达还有些生涩。他归结为自己说的太少，需要变成话唠一样。

知了很自然地坐到了大姐旁边，满眼问号地看着各位，心想：“今天又不是周末，喝的哪门子酒？”

Ava忽然问知了：“J，Are you planning to move out？”

知了脑袋里的问号更大了：“what? No! I don’t have this plan. why do you have such concern？”

大姐连忙解释道：“Ella要搬去city住了，今天大家举行一个家庭欢送酒会。Ava喝多了点儿，就有点儿忧郁情绪了。”

Ava仿佛听懂了一般，接着说道：“Ella is moving out, and I hope you two will stay longer。”说完就看着知了和大姐。

大姐赶紧说道：“don’t worry, I will stay until finishing my IELtS test。”说完看了一眼知了。

知了慌忙跟了一句：“me too。”

Ava笑了起来：“Relax, I’m joking. both of you are adults, it’s your freedom to decide where to live in。”说完呷了一口红酒，接着说：“told you guys before, I’m planning to sell the house and move to a small town, you would be my last term of homestay children。”

知了之前听Ava说过此事，她越来越难以忍受奥克兰的嘈杂，尽管在知了看来这里安静的不得了。

知了回复了一句：“I have to say that homestay is much helpful for English learning, so I don’t have reason to move out。”

Ava像是抱怨一般说道：“but you always go out recently, I have no right to control your personal life, but I can image you should make many friends out there, and they are chinese right? I’m quite concerning about your English studying and IELtS test。”

知了听了脸一红，不知该说什么去解释。他最近确实除了上课说英语，下课就是和Steve与Richard在一起，回到家其他人都休息了，也没机会说。
